Character going…going…gone!

A special thanks to Lord Richi for a successful conclusion to my character auction.  When I first listed Marcus up on the Character Bazaar, I honestly didn't think that I'd get as much for him as I did.  After all, his character skills were highly specialized in a narrow field which, while fun, isn't the most useful to a typical person in a 0.0 alliance.  And while I set the buy out price at 6.5B, I knew deep down that was likely unrealistic for a character not even trained in battleship weaponry, or able to fly a HAC.

Thankfully Lord Rishi came to my rescue, and has given Marcus a great new home.  That means that Matthew Geary's probing skills need to get up there in a hurry, to replace the one functional area that Marcus performed that my main isn't really qualified for.  Besides, would you use a character with 70M+ SP on a task that a new character could perform in just a couple of days?  I don't think so.

With my wallet now far deeper than it has ever been previously, I'm left wondering what to do with the extra ISK.  I've already set aside 1B to invest in White Talon Enterprises' currently-unannounced Logistics Project...so that leaves me with 4B ISK that can really go wherever it is needed.  Prudence dictates that I squirrel the money away, while my "spend it while you've got it" nature is telling me, "Wouldn't it be great to get a Panther.  And a Tengu.  And a Machariel?  You've always wanted those items, Cal.  Dooooooo it."

Ah, the war between prudence and frivolity waged once again.

Question for the People:

If you suddenly had 4 billion isk in your wallet, what would you do with it?  Keep it?  Spend it?  Play the market to get more?  Invest it?

Shout Out

Just wanted to extend a heart felt, "Hey man, hope you're doing alright, I'm here if you need me!" to Matt/Unreal.  Best PvPer I've had the opportunity to fly with over my many years in EVE, and a great friend to boot.

Carry on.  :)
